Punjab farmer wins bike worth Rs.5,33,000

Ludhiana, August 4, 2019: It was dream come true for 29 year farmer Taranjit Singh, resident of Village Faizgarh, Malerkotla, district Sangrur. The farmer won Harley Davidson street 750 bike worth Rs.5,33,000 by participating in the lucky draw contest at Ludhiana Shopping Festival on Sunday.

The 45 days extravanganza of Ludhiana Shopping Festival concluded at MBD Neopolis Mall on Sunday. The second prize of LED was won by Megha Sahni, 21 resident of Raghubir Park, Jassian road, Haibowal. The third prize of sports cycle was bagged by Darshan Lal 30, resident of main bazaar Dharamkot of Moga. Over the course of the 45 days LSF, 2355 vouchers were filled by shoppers and out of which only three people were lucky enough to bag luck draw prizes.

“I was ecstatic when I found out that I am the Grand Prize winner of this contest. Never thought that winning all these great prizes can be as simple as that. Thank you MBD Neopolis Mall and its management for once-in-a-lifetime chance of winning this contest,” said Taranjit. He said he just planned a shopping with his wife and sister and purchased pair of shoes from Carlton London store. He said he did shopping for apparels and other products as well but the bill amount was low so he participated in luck draw with only one voucher and he was lucky enough to win grand bumper prize.

Student of Interior Designing Course in Lovely Professional University, Megha Saini won LED tv from Reliance Digital. She said she had purchased apparels from Max and Pantaloons Store. She said when she received call at first she thought it was a prank call. She said when the mall management asked her to bring her voucher and Id then she realized that she had won the prize and it was like just big surprise for her on funny Sunday.

Winning sports cycle for 30 years old Markfed employee, Darshan Lal was expecting Harley bike as lucky draw prize but he said that he is more than satisfied after winning a sports cycle as well. He said he with his two friends had done shopping from Lifestyle and he has been participating in lucky draw from last four years but this time he was lucky enough to win prize. He said when he received the call from the mall management he was so elated that he called his friends for party.
