Chandigarh, May 25: The President Punjab Boxing Association and Member Rajya Sabha S Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa today congratulated Junior World Champion Mandeep Kaur Sandhu, who recently brought laurels for nation and Punjabi fraternity by winning the title at Taipei.
While felicitating Ms Sandhu, S Dhindsa said it was matter of great proud that Punjabi girl had secured this coveted title and Punjab Boxing Association is going to honour this golden girl. He said that the champion had proved her mettle on world level after getting training at remote village of Punjab ‘Chakar’.
The Member Rajya Sabha announced that Association will host a massive function to honour the champion so that the budding sports stars could get motivation to achieve new heights in their respective games.
