PU Faculty Invited to attend UN Workshop in South Korea

Chandigarh, March 7, 2019: Dr Namita Gupta, Chairperson, Centre for Human Rights and duties has been invited to attend United Nations’ workshop on “Integrated Solid Wastes Management based on Lifecycle Approach for Sustainable Urban Development” to be held in Jeju, South Korea from March 12-15, 2019. The workshop has been organized by United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) which is a dedicated training arm of the United Nations System. This capacity building workshop will provide participants with opportunity to obtain a better understanding of waste management practices, policies, and programs by cities and national governments to deal with waste problems in their own countries.
