PU election results boost SOI cadre, membership drive in Malwa Zone soon- Dugri

Ludhiana, August 30, 2015: The historic results of Panjab University ( Chandigarh) student elections boost the cade of Student organisation of India (SOI), wing of shiromani Akali Dal. With the huge response of students and youngsters the wing has decided to start the membership drive shortly.

The announcement to start membership drive shortly was made by SOI Zonal president Mr Meetpal Singh Dugri. He was addressing a huge gathering during a function at Tajpur road organised by Harman Dhillon ,sukhjinder Lehal and Jagmohan Singh.

While speaking on the occasion, Meetpal Singh Dugri said that the social activities and contribution of SOI in redressing the grievances of students led to thumping majority to SOI in PU elections.

Meetpal Dugri said that after the PU election results large number of youth wanted to join SOI and they have decided to start membership drive shortly.

MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon said that it is for the first time that any student wing have won the PU elections with such a huge margin. The election results have proved that Youth of Punjab have full faith in Akali Dal';s student wing.

The organisers also honoured MLA Ranjit Singh Dhillon, SOI leaders Meetpal Singh Dugri,Secretary General Prabhjot Singh Dhaliwal,Surinder Singh Grewal,Media Incharge SahibJot Singh Chawla,Raja Kang,jaspreet singh kaka.

Those who were present on the occasion were Assa jawadi ,Harmeet Singh,Prince Kang,Gugu Dugri, Cheema , Nipun Deep, Mehakdeep Chawla ,Magan Oberio  Kanwarpal singh kp and Jot jawaddi.
