PU contingent gets first position in state level parade

Chandigarh, January 27, 2019: NSS Contingent of Panjab University, Chandigarh got first position in the State level Parade at sector 17 on Republic Day. PU started participating in State level functions two years back and NSS contingent got second position twice on Republic Day and Independence Day. The parade was being led by its commander Ms Priyanka. Mr Shyam Lal another volunteer of PU represented PU yesterday at Rajpath, New Delhi. PU VC Prof Raj Kumar and all university officials personally met the winner contingent. PU VC also congratulated NSS Coordinator, Programme officers and volunteers for this wonderful achievement. He said that NSS volunteers should coordinate with all departments of campus for more participation in its various activities.
