Chandigarh, December 7, 2015: The Governor Haryana, Punjab and Administrator U.T.Chandigarh Prof.Kaptan Singh Solanki donated towards the Flag Day Fund on the occasion of the National Armed Forces Flag Day at Haryana Raj Bhavan here today. This Day is celebrated on 7th December every year all over the country to help and remember our brave martyrs, war widows, wounded soldiers and their dependents.
On the occasion the Governor said that Flag Day gives us an opportunity to reaffirm our solidarity with the Armed Forces and recognize their services. We should be grateful to the soldiers and their families, he added.
