Jalandhar, January 2, 2016: Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions conducted faculty development program in Loharan campus on effective public speaking by Prof Sharad Manocha ,Assosciate Professor,from DAV College Jalandhar from department of English in the campus.
He was welcome by Dr.Shailesh Tripathi Group Director Loharan Campus and Prof.Mago by presenting a bouquet and welcome speech was given by Prof Mago in his presence. Prof Manocha through light on the dynamics of Public Speaking to all the faculty members.He put emphasis on effective speaking that a speaker should be confident and has to maintain good personality with clear content and clarity of words and expressions. He also guides the entire faculty on voice and said that voice can be cleared by practicing tongue twisters in daily life.
Prof Manocha also speak on how to make a speech interesting not by cramming the speech but by using good sentences by adding some humors and good words of English vocabulary by reading books and magazines in daily lives.He also give examples of great personalities like Sushma Swaraj, Amitabh Bachhan ,Arun Jaitely and Barak Obama about the effective speakers and one should always learn from their speeches by listening to the debates and their shows.
At the end of the program Dr.Shailesh Tripathi presented Vote of thanks for Prof Manocha and thanked all the staff and the sundries for the program.
Dr.Anup Bowry Secretary Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust thanked Prof Manocha for giving wonderful tips to the faculty on public Speaking.
