Chandigarh June 26, 2015: Panjab University (PU), Department of Sanskrit,Chairperson Prof.Shankarji Jha has been invited to present a research paper “Nyayas (Special Grammatical axioms) in Sanskrit Grammar at the 16th world Sanskrit-conference to be held on June 28 to July 2 at Sanskrit Studies Centre, Silpakorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. Prof. Jha, an eminent Scholar of Sanskrit has five books and several research papers to his credit. Recently, the 3rd edition of his work-panditaraja Jagannatha’s Ras-gangadhara has been published that is a distinct constitution to the field of Indian poetics. Prof Jha has travelled very far off places UK, USA, Japan etc. in course of attending international conferences.

The Aptitude test for the admission to M.A. 1st Semester (Sanskrit) for the Session 2015-16 would be held on July 9 (Thursday) at 10 AM in the Department of Sanskrit, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh. All candidates are required to be present with their Original Certificate/Documents at the time of admission.

Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, Department of Biotechnology has announced the interview schedule for the candidates who have qualified the CET-PG 2015 and who have submitted admission forms. The interview would be conducted on July 9 at 10 AM in the Department of Biotechnology, PU, Chandigarh.
