Mother Day being celebrated by St.Soldier Group of Institution at Jalandhar on Friday.
Jalandhar, May 8, 2015: Mother Day was celebrated by St.Soldier Group of Institution under the name of “Maa da ladla” at its Kapurthala road branch. Mothers along with the kids participated in this program.
The function was presided over by vice chairperson Sangeeta Chopra and welcomed by principal Pratibha Sood and staff members. To check the coordination, love, affection between mother and child’s dance and modeling rounds conducted. Kids danced with their mothers on Hindi and Punjabi tracks “meri maa”, “maa jannat da parshava”, “ maa hundi hai maa”. Student also recites some poems and songs which were dedicated to their mothers. Simran along with their children Pavani and Laksh won the title of “maa da ladla” while.
Mother Meenu and their children Khushi, Kartik stood second. Mother Vanita and child Ishita stood third. Mother Sapna’s child Riya, Mother Deepika child Kaviksha won consolation prizes.
Chopra congratulates all mothers on this special day and asked all the students to respect their mothers.
