Press Appeal for Phoolwati, (C-7808269)

Mrs.Phoolwati, (C-7808269)a 30 year old lady who is currently undergoing treatment at Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana. Her husband is a blacksmith who earns Rs.200-250/ day and has two children, who presented to the casualty on 22/3/18 at post partum 2nd day with history of seizures 2 days prior to admission. Based on her work up working diagnosis of septic abortion, disseminated intravascular coagulation, acute kidney injury, posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome was made. She was treated with ivantibiotics,antiepileptics, and other supportive measures. She also underwent 4 cycles of dialysis in view of acute kidney injury. At present she is in the HDU on IV fluids and IV antibiotics. She requires continued hospitalization for management. The approximate cost of management is Rs 2,50,000/-.
