Practicing Valuers Association of Ludhiana formed

Ludhiana, February 9, 2014: An inaugural meeting of Practicing Valuers Association of Ludhiana (PVAL) held here on Sunday. It declared concept of formation and announced the office-bearers.
Speaking on the occasion, the PVAL president Lt Col AK Kapoor and the media and press secretary Sanjay Goel said a government approved valuer plays a very important role in the development of a Nation, as it’s through a valuer’s assessment only, that major financial decisions regarding loans are taken by the government or financial institutions. Valuer must be independent and neutral as professional, so as to properly guide the client and the financial institutions both. Valuers are approved by Institution of Valuers and Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India through CCIT as per their technical qualifications and experience.
They added there are many types of Valuers as per Ministry of Finance Govt. of India guidelines, such as Land & Building, Plant & Machinery, Income Tax, Agricultural, Capital Gain Tax, Wealth Tax, Jewellery, Mines etc.
Property valuers evaluate movable & immovable properties on the site and are the masters & expert in their field to calculate the value of assets on any given date.
Requirement of valuers is more in bigger cities, financial capitals or industrial cities like Ludhiana. Also, the demand of valuers has increased in the past decade many times due to increase in urbanisation, industrialisation etc.
Also, they said Ludhiana is not only an industrial city but an upcoming big metro and more government and private financial institutions are coming to city and they require service of different valuers for different purposes for their growth.
As there are many types of valuers from different fields for different assets with different age group and experience, so to create harmony and comfort for all including government approved financial institutions, Practicing Valuers Association of Ludhiana (PVAL) has been formed to create excellency in this field.
