Speaking on the occasion, Dr. J.S Sekhon - Director of Medical Oncology; Fortis Hospital Ludhiana, said,“Medical Science has made significant advances and early detection is of upmost importance in treatment of breast cancer. Contact details of survivors are shared with the recently diagnosed patients and women can get in touch with the survivors. This helps greatly in coping up with the disease and most important message out of this is that BREAST CANCER DOES NOT SIMPLY MEAN DEATH.
