PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar organizes 45th Fete

Jalandhar, February 2, 2019: Our College organized 45th Fete wherein Jagdish Raj Raja, the Mayor of Jalandhar was the Chief Guest and Rajinder Beri, MLA Jalandhar Centre was the Guest of Honour. Our guests commenced the event with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp. They received floral welcome in the hands of the Managing Committee of the College, Principal, Fete Incharge of the college, Mrs.Renu Tandon, Head Girl Muskan and the youth club President, Kamljeet. The programme began with the chanting of Bhajan song followed by a Rajasthani performance and Punjabi traditional song. Principal Dr.(Mrs.) Kiran Arora expressed hearfelt gratitude towards the guests for having made their presence . The Chief Guest addressed the students and glorified this institution of learning which has touched zenith of academic excellence over the years – owing to the collective endeavors of its Managing Committee and the staff members. The guests were bestowed with a token of Honour after which Mr.Vinod Dada thanked the Joint Secretary of the Management Committee and the other guests. The Chief Guest inaugurated the fete and took a round of all the stalls. Stalls of Chat, Golgappe, Ice – Cream, Tikki, Pav-Bhaji, Dosa were put up for the students to gorge upon. The students danced to the tune of DJ. The lucky draw took place and towards the end of the event, Mr.Sudhir Gupta, Manager SBI, Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Manager, PNB and Mr. Balwant Sharma, Executive Director of MBD awarded prizes to the winners.
