PAU To Impart Training In Home Preparations During Rainy Season

Ludhiana, July 18, 2016: The Directorate of Extension Education of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will organize a two-day training course on “Home Preparations during Rainy Season” on July 19 and 20. The course has been designed for farm women and rural youths.
Divulging contours, Dr R.S. Sidhu, Director of Extension Education, said the course would focus on cookery, cleaning and care of household articles. The home science experts would inform the trainees about care and maintenance of clothes and household articles during rainy season, he informed. Besides, experts would give tips for management of ailments and problems of children during rainy season, he added. Apart from this, experts would give demonstrations on preparation of ready to serve drinks and nutritious puras, he told. The trainees would also be educated about preparation of soap, detergent and eco-friendly cleaning agents, he added.
