KMV Hostel Organises Golden Night

Jalandhar, April 28, 2016: Golden Night was celebrated at Hostel of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar to adieu farewell to passing out students of the college. This function was named “Sweet Memories” and is an annual feature in the hostel. It is time to give blessings and best wishes to all those who are passing out from their institution. The party also gives a chance to express nostalgia and showcase talent to all who participate. At present the hostel houses more than 1000/- students from all-over India including U.P, Himachal, Delhi, West Bengal, Calcutta, J & K, Mumbai etc. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi was the Chief Guest for the occasion. The programme began with a Laavani dance, followed by choreography, poetical recitation, songs, giddha and bhangra etc. The cultural pageant concluded with a round of modelling for the outgoing students. The function concluded with rich and wholesome good wishes and blessings from the chief guest. She gave away trophies to those students who had left an indelible mark with their invaluable presence, and also to those who had given memorable performance during the evening to make it special. She also congratulated Ms. Paramjit, Ms. Balwinder and Ms. Vena for having organised the event with great success.
