PAU To Hold Various Training Courses In June

Ludhiana, May 12, 2016: The Directorate of Extension Education of Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will hold training courses on different agri-aspects in June. Divulging details, Dr R.S.Sidhu, Director of Extension Education said the training course on “Role of Public-Private Partnership in Agricultural Development and Group-led-Extension” would be conducted on June 9 and 10. The agriculture and horticulture development officers, district extension specialists, and scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) will participate in the course. Another training course on “Latest Production and Post-Harvest Techniques for Handling of Fruits and Vegetables” would be held from June 13-15 for horticulture development officers, district extension specialists and scientists of KVKs, he added. The third course on “Use of Drip, Sprinkle Irrigation and Poly-houses” would be organized from June 22-24 for horticulture development officers and soil conservation officers, he told.
