Overwhelming response for Campus Placements at SBS Campus; 70 students selected by 14 companies

Ferozepur, June 2, 2016: Ferozepur:- Institute of Indo-Pak border belt `Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical Campus’ got marvellous response from industries for conducting campus placement drive after getting accreditation from National Board of accreditation (NBA) and NAAC.
As told by Campus Director Dr.T S Sidhu, fourteen companies have conducted screening tests, group discussion and interviews. They have selected 70 students from B. Tech., MCA and MBA streams with a pay packages upto Rs. 2.5 lacs. He told that about 190 students were placed during year 2015-16 by ditterent companies and many more companies are in touch with Placement Officer Dr. Sanjeev Dewra and waiting for such placement drives. He told that Infosys is the only company which had selected about 100 students during his regular placement drives from this campus .SBS Campus is the only institute of border area from where Infosys selects students for placement.
Dr. T.S. Sidhu, Campus Director, congratulated the selected students and appreciated the efforts made by TPO Dr. Dewra and his whole team.
