Pancas Academy Award for Prof.Saroj Parmar

Dharamshala, November 22, 2018: Noted litterateur and thinker Prof.Saroj Parmar will be awarded, the prestigious award of the Punjab Arts Sahitya Akademi ‘Aadhi Duniya Pankas Academy Award' for her outstanding work in the field of literature. The award will be given to the strong signature of Hindi poetry Saroj Parmar on 22nd Annual Academy Award Distribution Function to be held in KL Sahgal Memorial Hall in Jalandhar on Sunday 25th November.

Saroj Parmar's collection of poems 'Samay se bhidne ke liye', ‘Ghar Sukh Aur Aadmi' and ' Mae Nadi hona Chahti hun' has made a mark on the national level. This poem collection is an exemplary example of her excellent writing work. She has also written hundreds of essays, features, interviews and articles for the journals.

Saroj Parmar, who lives in Palampur, is known for her self-centered creative expression. She has been awarded with over two dozen awards by various organizations for excellent writing.
