Orientation Programme for 2018 Batch at Bajaj College

Ludhiana, July 27, 2018: In order to welcome the new batch of BCOM and BBA, Bajaj college, Affiliated to Panjab University (situated at Ferozepur road) organized an Orientation Programme on Wednesday. Students of second and third year alongwith the faculty members and management made arrangements for this session. The event started with a welcome speech for the new faces followed by the Principal’s message. A motivational video by the name ‘Before the Pressure starts’ by Jay Shetty was showed to the students to inspire them for the coming journey. To introduce them to the faculty members the seniors had made a video wherein all the teachers gave details regarding their achievements and fields. Sonakshi Suri, Head Girl of the college delivered a presentation providing insight about the past and future events. Ms. Pallavi Suri, Assistant Professor of Management and Mr. Ashish Bajaj, Assistant Professor of Commerce enlightened the new-comers with the case study conclaves regularly held at the college and the foreign courses offered in the institution campus respectively. A games session was also put up to act as an ice-breaking session among the students. In the open-air theatre of the college, a flashmob dance performance surprised the first year students. At last, the college embraced the new energy infused by these young pupils with a cake-cutting ceremony. Events like these help the students to overcome the anxiety of first day at the college.
