Hyderabad, February 5, 2016: On the Day two of the four day Muddy Soles, an inter school Sports event on Thursday , Shotput both boy and girls, Long Jump, Track Events 100mts, 200mts for boys and girls; Relay Rays for both boys and girls, Chess, Tug of War, Football, Basketball were played. 
 
Held at Open Minds, A Birla School at Kollur in city, the host school Open Minds stood top with 8 medals and Kennedy High Schools with 7 medals
 
In Shotput Open Minds won medals, Kennedy High School three medals and Shantiniketan Vidyalaya two medals. 
 
In Long Jump Kennedy High School bagged five prizes; Creekside International School Four, Open Minds Four and Glendale and Shantiniketan Vidyalaya two each.
 
Open Minds dominated in 100mts and 200mts with clinching the maximum medals. Their medals tally stood at five, Manthan and Glendale two each, Meridian and Kennedy one each. 
 
Chirec emerged winner in Chess  and Basket Ball; Shantiniketan Vidyalaya in Tug of War, Glendale in Football
 
Internal Sports of Open Minds, Hyderabad are scheduled tomorrow along with inter school sport competitions. The 4 houses in the school – Achievers, Believers, Creators and Explorers would also compete for the Inter-House Trophy for the year.
 
The meet will go on till 6th February.  It will conclude with a boding and friendly Cricket Match between parents and schools staff of the host school, Open Minds.
 
The maiden event is conductws with sole aim to turn away kids from virtual games to real games. Due to lack of play grounds people are going away from real games.  The meet was also conducted to encourage sportsmanship and leadership skills among students through competition informed the Principal.
 
About three hundred students from 40 schools such as Indus International, Glendale, Chirec, Meridian, Manthan, Kennedy Global took part in the event.
