A 1-Day Programme on Export Finance, Documentations & Letter of Credit being held at FIEO Office, Ludhiana on Friday.
Ludhiana, June 19, 2015: Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) Punjab Chapter in association with Andhra Bank organised a one day Programme on Export Finance, Documentations & Letter of Credit on Friday at FIEO office, Ludhiana.
S C Ralhan, President, FIEO in said that these sessions are always helpful both for the new as well as existing exporters as they come as an eye opener and serve as a hand handling especially for the exporters. He urged the fellow exporters to work hard to sustain in the competitive global market as unfortunately under the new FTP 2015-2020 export incentives aren’t much lucrative for certain sectors which has made the exporters community much desperate. He said that FIEO have met the Hon’ble Minister of Commerce in this regard and have put forth the incentives issues of exporters many a times to safeguard the industry.
R M Nagesh, Zonal Manager, Andhra Bank appreciated the FIEO’s initiative to organise this one day programme. In his key note address he made the exporters aware of the bank’s credit policy and how can they avail the advances during the various phases of export order.
S K Gupta in his presentation mentioned the importance of letter of credit and types of L/C, export documentations and types of documents required and discussed about ways to get the export finance.
