Chandigarh, July 21, 2015: Volano Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and Maruti Suzuki India Limited announced the Fittest Corporate team of India today in Delhi. Sony India was announced the winner at the first season of ‘Devil Circuit Swift Challenge’ as the fittest corporate team.The three member winning team of Sony India comprised of Mr. Keshav Sharma, Mr. Abhishek Thapar and Ms. Anamika Singh. Sony emerged as the winner in a competition that saw participation from over a 1000 individuals who came together as teams representing 80 of the biggest corporate firms of the country. The regionals that took place cross Gurgaon, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Pune saw 10 teams emerge as the contenders for the prestigious mantle of “The Fittest Corporate Team of India” with finally Sony securing the grand prize of a brand new Maruti Swift car in addition to the title.

A first of its kind offering in India, Volano Entertainment brought to life the concept of amateur sport to test the endurance level of executives of top corporate houses of India.The teams showcasedboth physical and mental prowess required to clinch the title of the Fittest Corporate Team in India. The challenge witnessed energetic involvement from HSBC, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Dr  Reddys, Common Floor, Grant Thornton,GMR, JDA Software, Sony India, Global Logic, Concentrix and many more other leading corporates.

Expressing her delight on announcing the winning team Ms. Zeba Zaidi, Co-Founder & CEO of Volano Entertainment said, “The nail biting finale proved how lethal a combination of physical and mental strength can be. We are very proud of all the teams who participated, they showed a tremendous spirit of sportsmanship and I have no doubt that the next season will be bigger and better.”

The Devils Circuit Swift Challenge has had participants from across New Delhi, Pune, Bangalore & Hyderabad. The course consistedof a 200 meter indoor running track, completed over 6 physical and 3 mental challenges in a timed exercise. The physical obstacles will test participants on speed, balance, agility, strength and the mental challenges will test participants on mental maths, analytics skills and their ability to stay cool under pressure.
