One booked on cheating charges

Ferozepur, September 6, 2012:  On the written complaint and statement to Guruharsahai police station of Radha, a resident of Tibbewali Basti, Guruahrsahai, a case of cheating has been registered against a person.

Giving this information, ASI Satnam Singh said, Radha in her complaint has alleged that Baghicha Singh of Railway Basti, Guruhrsahai has duped her of Rs.3.34 lakh for arranging residential plot.  But, neither any residential plot has been got allotted to her, nor the amount in question has been returned. The police have registered a cheating case under sections 420, 406 and 506 IPC and started further investigation in this regard.
