CONDOLENCE: Sukhbir and Majithia condole demise of Badiala

Chandigarh, December 15, 2012:  Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister, Punjab today expressed deep shock at the demise of Jathedar Mukhtiar Singh Badiala, younger brother of Late Sant Fateh Singh, who expired yesterday at his native village in district Bathinda.

In a condolence message Deputy Chief Minister said that with the death of Jathedar Mukhtiar Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal has lost a Panthic leader, who was always true to his cause.

Meanwhile, Bikram Singh Majithia, Revenue Minister, Punjab also expressed deep grief over the demise of Jathedar Mukhtiar Singh Badiala. He said that the contribution of Jathedar Badiala for Shiromani Akali Dal would always be remembered.

Expressing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, Badal and Majithia prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
