One Asia Project inaugurated by Mr Yoji Sato at Amity University Haryana
Amity University Haryana today inaugurated One Asia project in its campus today. The project was inaugurated by Mr.Yoji Sato, Chairman of One Asia Foundation along with Prof P B Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Amity University Haryana. The purpose of One Asia Foundation (OAF) is that everyone in Asia enjoys a rich and prosperous life. The foundation offers abundant volunteering opportunity for citizens in Asia to work towards that goal. In his inaugural address Mr Yoji Sato said, “All my life as a human being I have been thinking of what life is, what the real purpose of the universe is. Finally I realized the purpose of life is to work for happiness and prosperity of all. I want Asian Countries to unite, live & grow all together.” While addressing the gathering Prof P B Sharma said, “I feel so happy that the One Asia Community Theory is gaining momentum at a time when Asia is emerging as the greatest economic power and a rapidly advancing human society. I also feel delighted that the One Asia Foundation has considered Amity University Haryana worthy for the award of the project”. Prof Sharma also explained the concept of “Vasudha eva Kutumbakam”(Maha Upnishad, 4.72), i.e. the whole world is one family. Prof. Dr. Padmakali Banerjee, Pro – Vice Chancellor, Prof Tiku, Dr. Santosh K Gupta, Project Director & Associate Professor, ASL, AUH, Dr. Markandey Rai, President of Foreign Affairs committee of the Indian Council for International Cooperation & Sr. Advisor UNESCO were also present at the occasion.
