Chandigarh, January 11, 2013: The Punjab government notified the enhancement to all the old and family pensioners @ 12 percent.
Disclosing this hear today an official spokesperson to said that the dearness allowance payable at the basic pay to all the employees/pensioners of the Punjab government drawing salaries/pensions in the old pay scales has been enhanced from 139% to 151%. He said that these orders would be applicable w.e.f. July 1, 2012.
He said that the enhanced dearness allowance from July 1, 2012 to august 31, 2012 would be deposited in the GP fund whereas cash payment would be made from September 1,2012. he said that all the pensioners of the Punjab government would be given the cash payment enhance dearness allowance from July 1,2012.
