NSS Camp being held at KMV, Jalandhar on Friday.
Jalandhar, January 16, 2015: In a significant endeavour to carry forward and follow-up Prime-Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a clean India. Kanya Maha Vidyalaya’s NSS Camp began with a thrust on the cleanliness drive within and outside the college premises.
Day one of the camp began with an inaugural address of Principal Prof.Dr.Atima Sharma. Principal not only elaborated on the significance of such social service activities but also exhorted all the young girls to pledge to make India clean and green. As a practical manifestation of her inspiration the three hundred of NSS volunteers unit adopted the Tanda Road area for their cleanliness drive. They also cleaned the botanical garden of the college. NSS camps are an annual feature at KMV. They are platforms to provide opportunity to the youth for involvement in social extension activities.
Ashima Sahni, Anupam Malhotra are in-charge of the NSS Camp. They are lauded for their excellence work by KMV Principal.
