Kids participate in Baisakhi Celebration in Cambridge International School, Jalandhar.
Jalandhar, April 15, 2015: In an effort to take the students closer to their roots and realise the importance of festivals in their life, Cambridge International School (Chotti Baradari)celebrated Baisakhi festival in school during morning assembly on 13.04.15 in which the students participated with full enthusiasm and vigour.
Various activities marked the celebration of this festival in the assembly. Along with other activities, a poem highlighting the importance of Jallianwala Bagh and creation of Khalsa Panth was recited by the students. Popular dance of the state Bhangra performed by the students was the highlight of the function.
On this occasion, Chairman of the school Ajay Bhatia, Deputy Chairman Deepak Bhatia, Chairman Learning Wings J.K Kohli, Dr Brijesh, Nitin Kohli, Academic Director Deepa Dogra and Principal mam Kiranjoth Dhillon congratulated the students and advised them to always remain connected and close to their culture which served as an identity in itself .
Overall the celebration was a huge success.
