Ludhiana, August 4, 2019: The three day Youth Conclave “Speaking Minds” was concluded on Sunday and three sessions were conducted on the last day at Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan.

The sessions were motivational lecture by Sandeep Singh, former captain of Indian Hockey Team, Arjun Awardee and presently serving as Police official in Haryana Police.

The second session was Climate Change and the impact on Youth and last session was Digital creative Industry and it’s Future.

In the first session, Sandeep Singh shared his story with 2000 youngsters participating in the conclave. He suggested the youngsters to never give in life and to do hardships to become successful in life. Sandeep Singh also told the audience that never delays your work to achieve goal.

Talking about the Hockey, Sandeep Singh said that the people love to play and watch cricket which is half game and half entertainment but Hockey is a perfect game for a true sportsperson. Sandeep Singh said that he is planning to open 40 Hockey academies in India to promote Hockey and train youngsters.

The second session on Climate change and its impact on Youth was presided over by IAS officer Kahan Singh Pannu, Director Mission Tandrust Punjab, Secretary Agriculture Department and former Chairman of Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB). He was also joined by Umendra Duttt of Kheti Virasat Mission and Ravneet Singh of Ecosikh.

Kahan Singh Pannu said that instead of putting blame on Government, Officials, we should contribute for making our environment clean and green and save climate. He said that the current situation is that in next ten years, there will be scarcity of water and after ten years, there will be no water. We should not waste water, install rain water recharge system and adopt other methods to save water. Umendra Dutt and Ravneet Singh said that we should avoid using plastic to save our environment.

The third session was on Digital creative Industry and its Future which was presided over by Shivankit Parihar, Shreya Mehta and Jasmeet Singh Bhatia, the famous YouTube celebrities and social media experts. They guided the youngsters that how then can produce content and operate a Youtube channel to earn money.

After the concluding session, Councillor Mamta Ashu felicitated the team of Initiators of Change for organizing Youth Conclave and also distributed Medals and certificates. Organiser of Youth Conclave Gouravdeep Singh announced that this time they didn’t use paper during the conclave and next year they will make the conclave plastic free.
