Nirmal Singh appointed as Assistant Professor (Horticulture) at GADVASU KVK

Ludhiana, August 31, 2016: Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University appointed Nirmal Singh as Assistant Professor (Horticulture) at KVK, BOOH, GADVASU, District Tarn Taran under the scheme “ICAR-14”.
Nirmal Singh took his graduation in Agriculture from Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner and Master’s Degree in Vegetable Science from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He was one of the delegates who attended International Conference by Delhi University at New Delhi and also attended national seminar on “Wide Hybridization” at IIHR, Bangluru. He is actively working with print media to make aware farmers about the latest agricultural technologies. He comes from a rural background having roots in the district Fazilka.
“It’s a great pleasure for me to join this prestigious institution. I will always follow the path shown by Baba Saheb Dr. B R Ambedkar”, said Nirmal Singh.
Dr Avtar Singh Professor-cum-ex-HOD department of Forestry and Natural Resources, Sohan Singh PA to ADC PAU, Harleen Singh, Swarn Singh, Manjit Singh, Surinderpal, Parminderpal, Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Sarabjit Singh, Yadwinder Singh, Manmohan and Jaspreet Singh were present during the joining of Nirmal Singh, they all congratulated Nirmal Singh for this new assignment and wished him a good luck for future.
