Niranjan meets his childhood ‘shaayar’ friend on Sony SAB’s Namune

Week on week, Namune has been making its audiences happy with affable but peculiar characters on the show. They have been motivating Niranjan (Kunal Kumar) on the show and the viewers to focus on the positive aspects of life. This weekend on Namune, viewers will meet Niranjan’s one such friend – Shashi Sarang (Aastad Kale). Shashi, once a simple and sober boy has now turned into a shayar, and suddenly shows up in Niranjan’s life. Shashi is born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has a golden heart. Many people have the impression that he is either a drunk or a maniac, as he is always talking to people in his ‘Shayarana andaaz’. Shashi teaches Niranjan how to live and enjoy every moment of his life, along with cherishing what he has without worrying about the consequences. Renowned actor Aastad Kale, who portrays Shashi Sarang’s character, is known for his prominent on-screen roles and is here to spread happiness on Sony SAB’s Namune. When asked about the character of Shashi Sarang in Namune, Aastad Kale shared, “I have always played Marathi roles and never got a chance to act in Hindi shows. To be able to play one of the characters in a show like Sony SAB’s Namune is an amazing opportunity for me.
