New Academic Session starts at HMV

Jalandhar, July 8, 2015: With the onset of new academic session, the orientation of TDC I (all streams) was held in the Ragini Auditorium of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya on 8th July, 2015.  The new entrants flocked to the college campus in high spirits and full enthusiasm. The orientation of the students started with ‘Saraswati Vandana’ presented by Music Deptt. of the college.  Mrs. Meenakshi Syal, Dean Academics and Dr. Jasbir Rishi, Dean Holistic Growth were the overall Incharges of the orientation.  Officiating Principal Mrs. Renuka Bhatti welcomed the students to HMV – the College of Excellence and advised them to become moral and modern while studying in value based and skill oriented institution.  She also encouraged them to be valuable to society and adopt a positive attitude in life. 

During the orientation, many teachers interacted with students and gave their best wishes for the new session. First of all, Dr. Jasbir Rishi told them about the importance of moral values in life and also guided them regarding leave rules and eligibility conditions.  Dr. Anjana Bhatia gave them relevant information about Add-on-courses.  Mr. Gullagong, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Mrs. Kuljeet Kaur provided information regarding Placements, NCC and NSS respectively.   Orientation was followed by distribution of time table and allotment of Roll Nos. to students.  The stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia.
