Ludhiana, October 24, 2017: In order to discuss the impact of science on law and society the University Institute of Laws, PU Regional Centre, Ludhiana was organizing a National Seminar on, 'Implications of Science and Technology on Law and Society: The Emerging Trends', on October 27.
Divulging the details Director, PURC Prof.Harmeet Singh Sandhu and coordinators Dr.Aman Cheema and Dr.Ashish Virk said that the Member Parliament (MP) Mr.Ravneet Singh Bittu would be the Chief Guest for the inaugural session and District & Sessions Judge S.Gurbir Singh would be Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session. The keynote speaker will be Advocate Harish Rai Dhanda.
They said that the participants would include professionals, advocates, academicians, students and experts from different walks of life and various parts of the country. Apart from paper presentations, the institute was also holding a photography and poster making competition upon themes of the seminar for the students, for which certificates and cash prize money would be awarded to the winners.
