More Volvo buses for Himachal: Bali

Dharamshala, January 27, 2017: The minister for Technical Education in Himachal Mr.G.S.Bali while talking to this Correspondent at Kangra on Friday said, "A girls hostel at the cost of Rs.5 crore shall be constructed in recently started Rajiv Gandhi Govt Engineering College Nagrota Bagwan in Kangra district.” He further said the new scholarship schemes under the name of Rajiv Gandhi shall also be started in this college where six top ranked students of every discipline shall be awarded Rs.10,000 per year.

Minister said, "A technical Education Building shall soon be constructed in Hamirpur at the cost of rs 40 crore.” He said that CM will lay the foundation stone of this building very soon.

Mr. GS Bali, who is also the Transport Minister of the state disclosed that a transport Office at the cost of Rs.2 crore shall also be brought up in Hamirpur, whereas rs 50 lakh have already been issued for it.

Bali said, "Himachal Road Transport Corporation HRTC is starting a Volvo Bus Service from Hamirpur to Amritsar via Una Jalandhar. The bus will leave Hamirpur in the morning to come back the same day. HRTC officers have also been instructed to start Two mini luxury buses to Chandigarh and Manali from Hamirpur. Another daily Volvo bus service have started from Chamunda Temple near Dharamshala at 10.30 PM to Delhi , which shall start back its journey at 11.15 PM the next Night.”

Minister said that to facilitate the public visiting Tanda Medical College in Kangra,HRTC shall start a Mudrika bus service, which shall cater in the radius of 30 kms with a maximum fare of Rs.25.
