Mohun Bagan sign Nigerian Alao

Kolkata, June 26 (IANS) Mohun Bagan have roped in Nigerian central defender Fatai Adisa Alao as their second foreign recruit for the coming soccer season.

The 27-year-old professional player has been with Yemen's Al-Oruba Club since 2009. He turned out in the AFC Cup's 2012 edition for Al-Oruba.

Earlier, he plied his trade for Al-Ittihad Club in the Yemen League.

In a statement, Mohun Bagan said Alao will be examined medically by the club doctors once he arrives in Kolkata. A physical test will also be conducted by the technical director and the physical trainer of the team.
