Mohan Dai Hospital organises Diabetes Awareness Campaign

Ludhiana, November 14, 2018: To commemorate the twin occasions of World Diabetes Day and Children's Day on 14th November, Mohan Dai Hospital, Sherpur Chowk, Ludhiana organised diabetes awareness campaign at the hospital complex today. The campaign was held by Dr.Geeti Puri Arora, Consultant Physician and Diabetologist. The aim was to spread the message that a strong support of family, as well as lifestyle modification played key roles in the control of diabetes. It was headed with a global logo of “unite for diabetes”, joining hands with poor, under-looked yet promising children, nursing students, adolescents under vocational training and teachers. Families of Type 1 diabetes and other patients who were present on the occasion were handed over patient education material. Short educative talks were also given in all the words and waiting areas to create the awareness.
