Meetings Held For Construction Of New Building Of Police Station At Maloud

& Setting Up Of Nursing College At Village Jarg

Ludhiana, April 24, 2015: A Meeting was held at Punjab Vidhan Sabha regarding the transfer of land of Nagar Council for the construction of new building of Police Station at Maloud, District Ludhiana. The officers brought in to the notice that the land had been finalised by Nagar Panchayat Maloud.  It was decided that Executive Officer Maloud would prepare the complete proposal and send the same to the Director Local Government department.  In the meeting regarding the land  for police station Doraha  was also  discussed and  it was decided to take further necessary action on priority.   

The following were present in the meeting Priyank Bharti, IAS Director Local Government  From District Administration  Supreet Singh Gulati ADC(D), Harjot Kaur SDM Payal,  Harcharn Singh Naib Tehsildar Maloud,  Parmjit Jindal, Naib Tehsildar Payal, Sanjeev Puri Senior President Maloud, Balbir Singh Gill EO Maloud, Varinderjit Singh DSP Payal, Savraj Singh SHO Maloud and Avtar Singh Ex-Sarpanch.

Another meeting was held at Punjab Vidhan Sabha regarding the setup of Nursing Institute at Village Jarg  in the Payal Constituency to review the progress. The meeting was presided over by Dr. Charnjit Singh Atwal, Hon';ble Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha.  The Committee members intimated the progress regarding Nursing Institute at Jarg to the Speaker.  The officers brought in to the notice in the meeting that being Nursing Institute to be given to a private organisation, the auction notice is to be  got published in the news papers  well in time. The Place of Nursing Institute would be transferred to  highest bidder on lease basis for 33 years. It was also decided in the meeting the place of nursing institute be named to Para Medical Institute instead of Nursing Institute. Dr. Atwal directed the officers concerned to get the work completed on priority.
