SP (HQ) Lakhbir Singh with MD Amandeep Kaur and others at Ferozepur.
Ferozepur, September 23, 2014: To support the shuddering traffic system of Ferozepur and keeping in mind the rising number of road accidents in the region, Dr Amandeep Kaur, Managing Director, Amandeep Hospital today donated 130 barricades to the Police Administration, Ferozepur. Lakhbir Singh, SP (HQ), while addressing the media persons at Police Lines today, praised this initiative of hospital authorities and said that this initiative would prove fruitful for the people of all walks of life. He said that this will also help in improving the deteriorating traffic system of the region.
Dr. Amandeep Kaur also announced Rs.1 lakh per year to be donated to the Police Welfare Society. Lakhbir Singh, on this occasion said that these barricades will be distributed between all the 13 police stations. He also said that special glow signs with traffic rules printed on them shall also be installed on the sensitive and hyper-sensitive roads.
It is pertinent to mention here that Amandeep Hospital is multi-specialty hospital for Orthopedics and Trauma Management at Amritsar providing great services. Sukhwant Singh Gill, SSP, Ferozepur also praised open heartily for this initiative. Besides Dr. Amandeep Kaur, Dr. Ravi Mahajan and Dr. Harjinder Singh, Harish Monga, President, Senior Citizen Forum, Abhishek Arora, President, NGO Helping Hands, were also present on this occasion.
