Chandigarh, April 4, 2016: Taking prompt corrective step the Education Department cancelled the paper of District Institute of Elementary Education Training (DIET) Gurdaspur due to alleged mass copying.
Disclosing this an official spokesperson said that Pedagogy of Punjabi paper of Session 2013-2015 Diploma in Elementary Education (D.L.Ed) (ETT) course being taken at Gurdaspur DIET was cancelled. This case came into notice when Mr Sukhdev Singh Kahlon, Director, SCERT had reached there for checking.
The spokesman further said that the entire examination staff included Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent and two supervisors were also shifted. The staff was replaced by Government Inservice Training Institute Gurdaspur.
