Jalandhar, January 14, 2015: Makar Sankranti an annual feature at KMV hostel was celebrated with great reverence and enthusiasm. This year also at the auspicious onset all the workers in the mess were gifted with warm clothes and other items of daily use by Principal Prof (Dr) Atima Sharma. Hawana Yajna was also performed in the college hostel. All participated pledged to pursue excellence for holistic development in their personal lives while contributing productively towards a better India and world. The Hawan Yajna was performed according to Vedic rites which purified the physical surroundings and brought peace to the mind and soul of all. Principal Prof (Dr) Atima Sharma exhorted the young girls to keep purity of the right and action in their life which would definitely help them realise their goals in life and also help to create a better world around themselves.
