IT Fest 2015 at D.A.V College

Jalandhar, February 27, 2015: IT Fest 2015 organised by IT Forum, D.A.V College, Jalandhar was celebrated with great zest and vigour in the college auditorium.

The auditorium was dangling on the songs- " chittian kallayian ve...." , " abhi to party shuru hui hai .... "," aunty police bulalegi .....", etc. The president of IT Forum, Prof.Kawaljeet Kaur, said that every year it fest is organized especially for the students of computer science department through which various students can show their talent by participating in various events such as it quiz, rangoli, programming skills, cultural activities and many more events.

This huge event was initiated by presenting a bouquet to the head of computer science department, Prof. Nischay Bahl and esteemed chief guest, head of computer science department of GNDU, Dr. Gurvinder Singh and welcome them. Then Prof. Nischay Bahl put light on various events being held and events that were going to held and gave his best wishes to all the participants.

Principal , Dr. BB Sharma and Dr. Gurvinder Singh delivered  their worthy words to the students and showered their best wishes to them. It was further followed by lamp lightning and then the fest started with its various cultural events.

Various events were held such as rangoli, web designing, poster making, group discussion, dance, bhangra, choreography, etc.

Topics were " android application", " national things" , " zero discrimination", etc.
