Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering awarded as Most Innovative Engineering Institute

Jalandhar, April 3, 2015: Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering is awarded as Most Innovative Engineering Institute of year 2015 in Global Education Excellence Awards 2015, held at New Delhi. These awards were sponsored by Prime Time Research Media Private limited. The award was given to Dr.Y.S Randhava (Director,LKCE) on behalf of Institute by Kirti Azad (Member, Parliament), Dr.Raj Aggarwal (Director, AIMA) and Anand Kumar (Renowned Mathematician & Founder of Super 30).

Dr.Y.S Randhawa (Director) stated that within 3 years of Inception, receiving of this award is a great landmark. This is  possible due to focus of our Institute on Overall personality development of students because in current scenario of Globalisation a students can get good placement only if he  is not only good in Academics but also possesses  characteristics  such as Good Communication skills, confidence ,Team Work, Charming Personality and Hard Work. Also Infrastructure provided to the Institute is best in the region including AC Classrooms, Well Equipped labs and knowledge enriched Library with quality books & journals.

Balbir Kaur (President, Governing Council) congratulated the staff for this achievement. She stated At LKCE; the emphasis is on the holistic growth & development of students, to make them competent enough to accept the challenge of the corporate world. Our endeavor is to make our students a good Engineer, efficient leader and a good human being so that he can contribute in a positive manner to society by his/her new inventions.

Sulhbir Singh Chatha (Director, Academic Affairs) also congratulated the team lead by Dr.Y.S Randhawa & stated that at LKCE, we also endeavor to inculcate moral, ethical and human values to make them responsible citizens of the country.  Students of LKCE are groomed both on the technological and techno-managerial fronts through innovative teaching – learning methodologies.
