Ludhiana police arrest 4 accused involved into murder of Sandeep Yadav

Ludhiana, October 6, 2018: Local police have arrested four persons in connection with the murder case of a minor boy Sandeep Yadav. Addressing a press conference here today, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Sikand, ACP Lakhvir Singh Tiwana and SHO Rajwant Singh added the arrested accused have been identified as Pappu, Rahul Kumar, Sanjay Verma of Subash Nagar and Anil Kumar of Kuldeep Nagar. Briefing about the incident, they told that Sham Bahadur of Gaushala Road, and his son Sandeep Yadav had gone to Guru Nanak Nagar for some work on October 3 this year. The accused were already present there. The four accused were the relatives of Sham Bahadur. However, they were not on good terms. When Sham Bahadur and his son were crossing a street, the accused stopped their way and started abusing to them. When Sandeep protested and asked the accused to stop abusing, they cornered him and thrashed him badly. Sandeep was rushed to a private hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased had suffered serious head injuries due to which he succumbed to his injury. The accused were apprehended near Basti Jodhewal Chowk on Saturday by the police party. They arrest was made on getting a tip-off by the police. The police told that the accused were about to escape from the city.
