Ludhiana News/Delegation of industrialists meet Commissioner of Police

Ludhiana, July 18, 2014:  Delegation of Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisations (FICO), Ludhiana under the Chairmanship of Onkar Singh Pahwa, Chairman, Bicycle Research & Development Organization (BRADO) met Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana Parmod Ban.
Delegates discussed about industrial security. They stressed on keeping more vigil during the days fixed for making the payment of salaries and advances to labour because incidents of robbery occurred on these days.
Commissioner of Police assured to provide extra force to keep vigil. He said a seminar on industrial security be organised to create awareness regarding industrial security among the industrialists.
Traffic problem was also discussed. It was suggested to take all possible steps to overcome the problem.
It was also suggested to re-launch surveillance cameras in city to keep watch on anti-social elements.
Delegates also suggested that community policing be started to check incidents of crime.
Police Commissioner assured to take positive measures in this regard. He also assured to fix meeting with industrialist to prepare future course of action within next 10 days.
