Lohri Celebrations take place at BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, January 13, 2015: The festival of warmth and happiness, Lohri was celebrated in BCM School, Dugri with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The whole atmosphere of the school campus reverberated in the camaraderie of festivity. The holy bonfire was lit by the revered Principal Dr.Vandna Shahi.
Students and teachers gathered in the ground and tapped their feet on the beats of traditional folk songs. A kite flying competition was also organised to add fervour to festivity.
The Principal remarked on the event that such festivals bring students closer to the heritage of the country. She also emphasised on the use of Indian threads for a safe celebration and avoid mishaps and undue accidents during kite flying.
