Chandigarh, January 13, 2015: Lohri was celebrated in Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh with traditional fervour. Students, research scholars, teachers and non-teaching staff members participated in various celebrations organised at Student Centre, various departments and hostels.
On the occasion, PU Vice Chancellor Prof Arun Kumar Grover greeted the students, alumni and other stakeholders of the University.
PU Dean University Instructions Prof AK Bhandari, Registrar Col. GS Chadha (Retd.), Controller of Examinations Prof Parvinder Singh, Dean Law GK Chatrath, Dean Business Management & Commerce Prof Keshav Malhotra, Deepak Kaushik, officers and deans also participated in the function, which was organised by Panjab University Non Teaching Staff Association.
