Jalandhar, February 16, 2016: Ivy World School recognises the importance of a well – rounded education that extends beyond the classroom. Students at the school are therefore encouraged to pursue a wide range of intellectual, sporting and social activities.
Creativity is as important now in education as literacy and we should treat it with the same status. In the 21st century, the pure academic type of education that students are introduced to, is steadily paving way to a whole new type of education with a special focus to incorporate three major genres of education: reasoning, psychomotor and emotional learning. Keeping the positive competitive spirit in mind, Little Master Chef competition was organized for students of Grade 4 and 5 in the school premises on Monday. The students enthusiastically participated in the competition and prepared lip smacking dishes like – Mexican Salad , Coconut balls , Cold Cheese sandwiches , Frosted Cake , Yummee Glasses , Chocolate Coconut roles etc. The efforts and the presentation by the students made it difficult for the judges even to give their decision. Principal Mrs. S. Chauhan congratulated the participants on displaying their uniqueness and best efforts and wished success in their future endeavours.
