KMV organizes Extension Lecture under Mera Sahitya Meri Drishti lecture series

Jalandhar, September 4, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Autonomous & Heritage Institution,Jalandhar's P.G.Department of Hindi organized an extension lecture under the ' Mera Sahitya Meri Drishti' lecture series. The resource person for the extension lecture was Sh.Sagar Sood, a prominent poet, lyricist, script writer and dialogue writer of Punjab. While addressing to the students, Sh.Sood mentioned about the various stages of his literary and creative journey and also shared with the students about his life experiences that motivated him to take a turn towards the poetry writing. He also explained that when a person connects with his environment in a very sensitive manner and then learns and understand the environment, then only he can connect with his creative self and can become a poet or a writer. In a very interesting & poetic way, Sh. Sagar Sood explained the condition of senior citizens in our society & family, the struggle of women, the mental stress and questions of the youth and the worrying situation of the neglect of human and social relationships for the fulfilment of materialistic needs. He also motivated all the students to connect with the literature and creativity in order to become a creative human being. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that this type of extension lectures helps students to connect with our literature and also motivates them to be creative in their course of life. During the lecture, the students of M.A. Hindi, B.A. Hons., PG Diploma in translation Hindi, Patkarita Parshikshan (diploma) were present.
