KMV, NCC and NSS units observed 4th International Yoga Day

Jalandhar, June 21, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-the Heritage & Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar observed International Yoga Day. The event was organized by departments of NCC and NSS. 50 volunteers from NSS, 150 NCC Cadets from various schools and colleges and 20 Faculty members reported sharp at 6:30 am for the same. Mrs.Manju Arora and Mr.Munish Arora from Yogpath Sansthan (regd) Jalandhar conducted the session. Brigadier H.M.S. Chatwal, Group Commander Jalandhar along with Colonel Jasbir Singh from 2Pb(a) BN NCC Jalandhar. Mr.HMS Chatwal also attended the session. It was a refreshing and exhilarating experience for all who were a part of the session. Mr.Munish Arora explained the importance of doing Yoga in daily life. It is also worth mentioning the Non-Teaching staff members and MTS staff members of KMV also attended the session. Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi appreciated the endeavour of the organizer for organizing the activity in a flawless manner. She lauded Dr.Madhumeet, Dean Student Welfare, Ms.SeemaArora, Incharge NCC Unit, KMV, Mrs.Ashima Sahni, Incharge NSS, Dr.Sonik Bhatia, Mrs.Anand Prabha and Dr.Neeraj Sharma, Dean Resident Life, Mr. Manoj Sharma, Office Superintendent and Mrs.Parmjeet, Warden Hostel for taking this initiative of making students involved in ventures such as the present one.
