KMV Inaugurates new Examination Center

Jalandhar, November 15, 2018: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage and Autonomous Institution, Jalandhar inaugurated the newly built Examination Center with Hawan ceremony. The ceremony witnessed the presence of Sh. Chander Mohan, President, Arya Shiksha Mandal, Mrs Neerja Mohan (Member, KMV Managing Committee), Principal Prof.(Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi and the presence of all the faculty, office staff and students. The examination center has been specially designed to conduct the exams efficiently under the new Autonomous status gained by KMV. All invocations sought the benedictions of the almighty, omnipotent and omnipresent. Together all prayed not only for a fruitful and prosperous growth of the college but also for world prosperity & peace through the spread of the light of knowledge. At the culmination of the Hawan, addressing the gathering Principal Prof. (Dr.) Atima Sharma Dwivedi informed that K.M.V. has once again created history by becoming the first women college in the region to be blessed with autonomous status. Under autonomy KMV will conduct exams but the degrees will be awarded by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. This newly built Examination center will be instrumental in the smooth working of the examination committee. It is important to mention that the autonomy will provide KMV freedom to design courses, develop curriculum, conduct examinations and introduce examination related reforms. Mr Chander Mohan lauded KMV Principal Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi for making KMV enter into the higher league of colleges and also for introducing valuable innovations in this internationally acclaimed institution. The examination center has four offices for officials, record rooms, Assessment Halls and 5 records and strong rooms. All the facilities have been provided for the benefit of the students.
